Took down a tank I had Gyres on. Can i use the Ice Cap Battery Back on my Mp40s? Anyone have experience or thoughts?

I'm using one with an mp40 currently. not 100% its lasts as long as the ecotech battery, but should definitely go atleast 24 hrsTook down a tank I had Gyres on. Can i use the Ice Cap Battery Back on my Mp40s? Anyone have experience or thoughts?

Works fine. Only real difference is it doesn't trigger the "backup mode" for the pump (which is a separate plug in the controller), it continues to run the normal program.

Bumping this question. I also have a ice cap battery backup because I returned the defective gyres. I have bought 2 MP-40's, wondering if there are any other issues with this pairing. Anyone have first hand knowledge?
