About 2 week mark again. Pulled the screen and it's getting some good attachment. Going to up the photo period another hour.

With larger tanks that are heavily fed, there is more of a "nutrient sink" available. Also, the fact that you were already running a scrubber on the tank means a brand new screen is more likely to start up faster.

I think that in your specific case here, you can extend hours as munch as you want, there's no signs of potential photosaturation here, the nutrient sink concept helps you avoid that as well. You can probably bump up intensity as well.
light period from 8pm to 12pm with knobs at about 5 o'clock
So I assume this means 8pm-noon, i.e. 16 hours/day? Go to 20, bump intensity to 4 o'clock. That's assuming that you have measurable nutrients, or you are feeding a lot

I always feed a lot and my nitrates hang around 2.5-5 mg/L and phosphates around 0.02-0.09ppm.

I think I'm up to 18 hours now as I ended up bumping up 2 hours instead of 1. I'll turn up the intensity too.

Getting filled in very nicely. Definitly felt the weight this time. Still a lot not fully attached so I wouldn't say its matured yet. I've bumped up the flow and the light to 20 hours.

Hello...I'm considering adding one of your ATS unit to my system. I've got Red Mushrooms growing everywhere...I've heard it could be due to high nitrates, although when I test my water my Nitrate level is zero. I have a 180 gallon system with a 60 gallon sump... I have a lot of LR so I probably only actually have about 110 gallons of water.
Which model would you recommend?

Thank you

Mushrooms are typically not considered a nuisance like most algae. Not sure I’m understanding you correctly.
I realize they aren't an algae, but I was told they can grow like weeds due to a result of high nitrates. I also have Red Cyano Algae that are growing on some of my LR. I was hoping that if I installed your ATS it would help to reduce Nitrates and remove RCA?
