The more I look at this one the more I like it! I'm going to have to label the rocks so I remember how to put it back together when I start filling the tank up. Also, cool fact on this structure. Tell me if you can see the skull in the rock that goes the highest? I was looking at the pictures and I spotted it..

Christmas in October! Lol UPS just dropped off my Gyres, ATI bulbs and Aquamaxx C0-1 skimmer. Still waiting on my ATI fixture, reefbrites, iquatics light hanging kit, and RO DI filter..

So I got some more reef goodies in. The other day my reefbrites arrived. Today my ro di system with inline TDS meter came in from Melevs Reef which is looking awesome. But one thing showed up that I was not to happy about.. My ATI came in.. only it wasn't the one I ordered.. they sent me the non dimmable version. I ordered the dimmable. On top of that they don't have anymore in stock.. So they have to see if they can get ATI to send me one straight from the factory. Anyway that was depressing. The girl helping me from Marine Depot is very nice. I just hope she pulls through and I don't have to wait forever to get a light..

So yesterday (besides the light ordeal) I picked up a cool little kitchen cart from target that I'm going to house my electronics in. Been searching for something with the right dimensions so it will fit on the wall where my tank is going.. This is the cart I got in black to match my stand.

I didn't install the drawer because that's where my power strips will be. I need to find some rack mount hardware to bolt them to the cabinet but it will look like this
Behind the door I will mount my controllers on something.. I also made sure not to attach the top of the cabinet so I can get in and out easily from the top to get to the back of the strips where everything plugs in. It's nice that the top is recessed in so it sits right on top and can't just fall off easily

Just a little update. I decided to keep my non dimmable ATI that was sent to me by mistake as I ordered the dimmable version. Aaaaand I ordered the Apex.. I used a lot of reward points I had plus the price difference of the fixture plus a $20 inconvenience credit they gave me. So think I made out pretty darn good [emoji12]
I was still going to have to buy the pin point PH meter and a heater controller so the price wasn't that much off of what I was going to have to spend anyway..

This is a very cool build already! Cant wait to see the progress!

Lol for sure! All my controls will be in the cabinet with one of those baby proof door clip things. My wife has been asking me to get those for like 2 months already for the lower kitchen cabinets.. I'm such a slacker sometimes [emoji849]

Oops I thought you said rack set up but just realized you said rock.. lol
LOL, Also the stand looks nice with the rack on the side. Will be nice for a 10g quarantine tank but I think is too closed to the DT.

Ya, I really just wanted something for all the electronics. Not enough room under the stand. I'll use the top for doing water tests and acclimating fish and corals. Other then that I have to keep it looking nice and neat. The tank is in the kitchen

A couple of steps closer. I got my light hanging kit in from iquatics yesterday and installed it.. Would have been an easy install but since I have the ghost overflow plus bulk heads coming out of the back of the tank it made it a real PITA.. but it worked out.. also mounted the reefbrites to the ati. My apex should be here today.
