What are the plans for the little tank to the right?

ive just been tossing frags in there for a while to grow out a bit then into the main tank frag rack. not sure what the final plan will be with it maybe rock nems or something. i have a kessil on it now and a different stand. i didnt want the light to bleed over into the main tank and cause any added algae issues

How do you like the sump on the 70.2? Pros/ cons?

I like the all glass sump. Easy to clean, fits my skimmer and heater no problem. maybe one extra section or potential for an additional section a fuge would be nice.. but it holds all my current items so im happy with it.

Good too know. I’m looking into getting one at the end of the year.

How has the tank been doing since the last update on it?

How is the kole tang doing in that tank? I have a 70.3 and was thinking about possibly adding one for algae control...

Good so far. Going on his 3rd week. When I first got him he didn’t really wanna eat but around the 3rd day he started. He didn’t touch the algae I put in for about a week. He’s doing really good tho. If he’s still clear with nothing on him by this Tuesday I’ll move him to display.

I had some back luck with the ones before this one. I went through about 5 tangs. They would only live for about 2 weeks and for some reason just dye off. This one seems to be doing really good.

When I was in Cali and visited Cali kid corals I told him about my tang problem and he told me to try live Aquaria. I order 5 fish and all are doing great. Plus comes with a 2 week warranty can’t beat that.

Ordered a cabinet i planned on returning as an equipment cabinet. Ordered it from target and received it put it together and I’m actually pretty happy with it. Especially for $32 after post Black Friday discounts they had. Next option was about $110, so i figured worse comes to worse I’ll return it, but i like it. Built it last night. Today i ran out for some various supplies at Home Depot. The room the tank is going in needed to be painted in the near future so i figured I’d get that out of the way on the wall where the tank was going. I also picked up a piece of closet shelf to use as a panel to mount the electronics on within the electrical cabinet($6). Also grabbed wire wall grommets and a 2” hole saw to install those into the cabinet. Also, grabbed some silicone to run a bead around the edges like @JDtimk mentioned in a previous post. Also a waterproof outlet cover due to the location of the outlet. I want to be as safe as possible but moving now the outlet or tank are not an option. Today i started measuring and laying out how I’m going to get up the electronics cabinet.

I really like the cabinet you found, I am totally going to steal that idea from you. I found pretty much the exact cabinet on amazon. It was a really smart way to keep it looking sleek and it looks like it belongs with the tank IMO. Your whole build looks great.
