Just one but man it is one of the brightest things in my tank by far! You shoulda seen the colony in Mike's tank, it was pretty sweet.

i would love to go see his tanks but hes a little far away. i tried to talk our local group buy into getting some but there still to high for the group at the moment. to bad though i would love to have some. ill be waiting to see some pictures :bigsmile:

So, how big is that pillar? It looks humungus(more than 3 ft tall(?) in the pic.

It's about 18" tall and 18" wide. It'll cover up most of the overflow in the center.

Well, I have a new found addiction. Favias. I never realized the color some of these can have! Picked up a nice sized frag of the Vivid Tri-Color Favia from them today, can't wait to see how it colors up. Pic will be added later.

Well, the tank is kind of a frag/grow-out tank for the time being until I get my structure from the Alternative Reef in the next couple weeks. I still haven't decided whether or not to add sand but it'll have rock again and will look like a real display.

Picked up a Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS today to use for quick shots since my last Canon bit the dust. Still playin around with it but here are a couple quick shots I took.

Thanks, I'm super stoked about it! All of the shelves are going to be awesome for my LPS on the bottom and some sticks up top.

I've also got two smaller pieces coming that will sit on the on the sand bed which have lots of shelves for my acans, favias and maybe even a few select chalices.

BIG plans for the weekend!

After much deliberation I am moving the tank from our second bedroom out to the living room where it'll get more love and attention. While everything will be drained I also plan to remove the sump from under the stand and plumb everything into a closet behind the tank. Should be fun. I'll have a LOT more room to work with and plan to add a small frag tank eventually as well.

Also, my pillar arrives TODAY from The Alternative Reef.

AND

I received some BEAUTIFUL acans from Reef Pets / Austin Aqua Farms, they're unlike anything I've ever seen.

Well, the tank didn't get moved this weekend because the new LED's didn't arrive.

In the meantime here's a pic of the new pillar. Everything was just kinda tossed on there for now, still have two more pieces coming soon!
