i just got a kessil a360we with control its currently in acclimation mode just need help or ideas on a light schedule with color and intensity thanks in advance.

tank dimensions and how high the light is mounted above tank as well as types of corals being kept will help get you more accurate answers.

its a 29g biocube i have a lot of zoas mostly a few acan colonies and a 3inch clam only fish is a pair of yasha gobys

i would say slowly ramp somewhere in the 80% range and take if from there. Just tested mine with my lights 11 1/2 inches over the water and corals 3-4inches underwater was only getting around 200 par at 100% intensity. These lights are not as powerful as people say

Other than the clam you don't have anything that needs strong light I would also ramp up to 80% intensity and give it everything at least 2 months to really acclimate...
Here's another thread where people are growing SPS with kessil just gotta give it sometime I know I was ready to change to T5 after not noticing anything after a month but now everything is growing nicely

Ok awsome i figured start sliw then go up but im looking for an actual schedule in the kessil control thru the day iy has like 7 slots for dawn dusk

Oh ok yeah I have the remote as well...I have my own own schedule I came up with...I wish it had more slots...I need an apex to bad they so darn expensive

i was very suprised to see how low the numbers are considering the proximity to the light and only begin 3-4" under the water and hitting the 200 par mark. par is par ultimately assuming spectrum is accounted for. I was able to keep some sps alive, but they never grew and most slowly deteriorated over months. They are simply not as bright as people think they are.

Good thing is i dont have and SPS i just run zoas and a few acan colonies i do have one sps i got as a freebie its doing well its a brown green looking SPS lol but as for now everything is doing fine just my acid reflux are acting up maybe needs more flow or more light im giving it a week before i move it just to be safe my zoas act up when they are making babies so fingers crossed its just that
