So the other day I drained the 20 and have gotten six of the nine pallifina rehomed. Of course Bloo is still here(and holding, what a good boy). I moved the tank and stand out of the way in anticipation of the person picking it and the final threeup, Monday. I messaged asking if we were still on? They explained they had a blow out and that he’d have to borrow wifeys truck. Ok I get it that happens. So in a bucket they go for the night. Yesterday I messaged again, asking about what time they’d be by. And was told then that their wife was a bit upset about another tank. So I asked if he was passing on it and he said that yes he should. I’m a bit miffed at the lack of communication. Should have let me know when his wife said so, and when he had the blowout. I had explained in the club that the tank had to be taken down due to possible leakage that I was uncomfortable with risking any longer.
So yesterday I messaged the second person. Who wanted to know if the stand would fit in his jeep. I gave measurements, and it probably won’t. So his response was “lemme make some calls.” Crickets. Finally the three are still in a bucket, with a heater. I have someone supposed to get a heater for their 56 gallon and grab them whenever that happens. But I guess when I get home I’ll bring the spare 10 reptile tank in, toss it in the floor and floor it for them.
This tank is cursed lol.
Through my boredom and anticipation of wanting to upgrade for the macs, I took some very expensive oversized art paper(because why not) measured and cut the size of the tank and stand (Eden 20) and now think that if I’m saving up I may as well save for the 30 because 10 extra gallons but also it would fit better?
Idk. Thoughts? To be fair 20 would be plenty for the macs. But it will be a bit… well I took pics so what y’all’s thoughts? I’ll measure and waste more paper for the 30 this afternoon cause I literally have nothing better to do with my time.
