Take a look at the growth. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It will take sometime before the mangrove start sprouting. But when they do, the mangrove a nice to look at. When the mangroves start to sprout, spray the mangrove leaves with water, not salter but fresh water one a week. This will hydrate the plant. I used RO/DI so not to get the bad stuff from tap water.
They are growing like molasses on a frigid morning.Grow baby grow!
Mist everyday. I wish but I want them to get bushy and full. I may have to get rid of one or 2.You've got room for at least 10 more! Nice growth so far. I love my mangrove tank. While I agree with everything @jsker said, I will just add that I mist mine with RODI daily. You'll want to keep salt creep off of their stems and leaves.
You are doing great, in mangrove farming!! I have all these idea for the new system, I am thinking of mangrove section in the sump.Mist everyday. I wish but I want them to get bushy and full. I may have to get rid of one or 2.

No bubbles. Nitrates not a clue don't test that tank. It's there with lights on and off. No bubbles coming of it.A few questions. What are your nutrients testing at? Does it dissappear after lights out? Any bubbles coming off of it?
never seen anything like that... but screams some sorta weird bacteria culture or somem type of algae? It's a jelly like substance. Reminds me of eggs.
I do have a couple of small mangrove leaves that where in the tank.never seen anything like that... but screams some sorta weird bacteria culture or somem type of algae?
That wouldn't do it, IMO. Not unless there was some weird bacteria colonizing it. I tend to agree that it looks bacterial. Though, some Annalid sp. lay gelatinous egg masses and they look a little like that. What does your worm population look like?I do have a couple of small mangrove leaves that where in the tank.
