March 2011 POTM entry thread

The theme for this month's competition is "Blue Fish." The definition of blue fish for this month is that at least half of the body color must be blue. And photographing a yellow fish under actinics doesn't count.
Here is the "fine print:"
--Only one entry per person
--Photos must be 800 pixels or less on the long side
--All entries must be your photo
--There may or may not be a prize
--Entries will close on March 15
--Voting will start shortly thereafter and end on March 25

Terminal Male Lineatus fairy wrasse

Need to correct the white balance. Looks like a lineatus. If so, the blue coloration is probably sufficient to qualify, though it's close.

do psychadelic mandarin's count? Only fish I have that's fairly close to being blue, besides blue-striped pipefish. Not sure if either have 'sufficient' blueness to them :squigglemouth:

amazing photos everyone...how do you get such good pictures of your fish? mine are always swimming to fast to get a good pic
