I'm thinking of setting up a pico and thought it would be nice to have everything miniaturized in scale to reflect the small size of the tank. I know there are micro zoas, are there any other micro/dwarf softies or mushrooms that you know of?

Most softies grow huge. In a pico tank I would get encrusting corals whose growth is limited by space.

Sympodium is a good choice. Japanese deepwater sarcophyton (the real one) takes forever to get big. In fact I don't know if it ever does.
Are the japanese toadstools grey with green polyps?

I think a pico tank full of fluorescing mushrooms of different types would be awesome!!

Green star polyps do well, too well In some cases, you can get a gsp carpet growing on your tank bottom with patience and time
