Started 2 years ago. Still loving the hobby. Wish I had my pics of my tanks from the beginning :(
Started with a 10g than 50, 75 now I'm running a 55g and 150g. The 55g is just a qt/ht tank and it's underneath my 150.
Don't run a sump just a HOB bio wheel and a 225g skimmer. Nitrates always good!

Looking good. A tank that large could really benefit from a sump. How many times has that HOB skimmer overflowed?

Never, I clean it every 2-3 days. All that's in the hob is a fine white filter pad. I like the Berlin style technic. I did take out my sand and fish last week. Got my 3rd ich attack in 2yrs :(

So I switched some things around and added a sump 2 months ago. Want to see the big difference!

Love that rock work, we share the same taste as I like my scape to look dense and high as well. Well designed sump, how many gallons is it?

Ya the tank is a pain, I have to go "swimming" every day! It's 72-28-17
I have these inverts without anemones :)
5-blood shrimp
4-skunk shrimp
1-sexy shrimp
2-serpent stars
3 hermit crabs (1 really big, orange)
50+ snails
Tile starfish
I guess that it :)

The blood come out mainly when I feed, other than that they are healthy and love to hide. I have them a for little over a year. They are more shy out of the shrimp. The skunk are more over the whole tank, not shy at all.
