My Experiences with Berghia

I read a lot threads about these guys before I decided to buy them. People's results were mostly poor and the reviews were negative. I thought I'd post this because I've had a positive experience with them and thought I'd add some good vibes to the mix.

I bought 14 of these guys from Larry Orgill a few weeks ago after trying Joe's Juice and Ap. X. The apps would disappear for a while and then explode.

In the past three weeks (I know it's early yet..but I have a good feeling) the berghia have cleared out the apps from a 1/4 of the tank. All of the smaller apps are gone from around the area where I added the colony of berghia.

I see the berghia a few times a week and have watched them actively sucking the life out apps on the rocks and in the sand bed.

Three for 45.00 plus one extra if I bought two three packs. I know they are sold for less but I'm not sure people are getting what they pay for all the time.

im trying the joes juice and ive been watching for babies and getting them to ive herd nothing but good about them and anything is better than a bunch of apptasia abd if it doesnt work ill try aptasia x and so on till they are no more lol

I have tried berghias and they ate my aiptasia's very fast. But then one day they all died and aiptasia came back. Haha I think mine over ate?? But i ended up buying a peppermint shrimp and no more aiptasia

Pep shrimp have not worked for me. They just grew fat and lazy stealing the mysis from my LPS.

I'm going to try to retrieve these guys and pas them around my club when the time comes.

you have to starve the peperments and they will eat the apt and majonas
