Tried my hand at some Coral photography tonight, I think the pictures turned out alright. The Zoa's aren't sure they want to open yet, neither is the Kenya Tree, but the GSP and Xenia seem happy enough so far.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Looking good, as for tips...... I personally would get rid of the Kenya Tree and Xenia, they grow like weeds and can take over your tank before you know it.

I read that about xenia. Im hoping that #1 they will in fact grow, and #2 if they do grow, i can keep them trimmed.

Came home with a
yellow watchman goby (black) &Pistol shrimp
Pair of black ocellaris clownfish
Cleaner shrimp

Exciting, the goby has already adopted a spot it seems..

The clownfish are kinda just sticking to one corner, is this normal or an indication of too high flow?

Playing around with the camera after getting the new fish. Man are they ever hard to capture, almost impossible without flash..

Not too shabby, I'd bump the SG back to 1.025 though.

Yea, im going to try to do a water change very small. Salt water for just rodi water to bring it back down. You think that's why my zoas are reclusive?

Do according to my calculations if I change 7.5 gallons of water ill reach 1.025 from my current 1.027. I have roughly 100 gallons of water in the aquarium.

Trying to build a cuc.
I have 4 turbos, 2 of them are gigantic and will be returned after diatom bloom
4 hermits

From my reading it looks like nerite and Cerith feed on the same stuff, so the only pro to having both is biodiversity. Nassarius are good leftover food eaters.
What about chittons, they're awesome, and sea hares

Seems like I could substitute sea hare for the turbos.
