Here is the plan to start with one coral, I'm thinking my neon green candy cane, and trade my way all the way to a frag of the my miami. My inspiration comes from the story of the guy on Craigs list who traded his way from a paper clip to a 3 bedroom house.
To help keep costs low, I think I will try to stay as local as possible (Central florida). If not I could pay close to $1000 in shipping when alls said and done lol. I will also have to be very careful to acquire corals that will be wanted by others, otherwise my plans could be derailed.
Will post a pic of the coral I have chosen when I get home.

Lol, it might be a long process, but should be fun. If nothing else, it will keep me preoccupied enough to not spend money I don't have on other stuff. Yay the economy works in mysterious ways. yay

Well with any luck, by the time you have enough saved (what it costs to buy one eye), you will be able to get a 4-5 eye piece.

I would also love to get a My Miami Chalice, but I cannot help but to think these prices will come down in a bit, just gotta have some patience I guess.

LOL - Sounds like fun. I just hate shipping wayyyyyyyy too much to go through all that. Hopefully you have a lot of collectors or people willing to trade out that way.
If nothing else, you'll have a lot of fun trading for new stuff.

Good luck - I'll be following along!

I'm taking this into account as well, If the price were to stay at 1500, I would be hard pressed to have anything worth trading for that, coral wise.

There are some peeps here that have some pretty nice stuff, can't have WWC in your city and not have some choice pieces lol. I will not be shipping too much at all, until I get to the nicer stuff.

I am second guessing starting out with the candy cane. I should start with something that people would definitely want. I'll see if this goes anywhere and maybe change my choice tonight.

I would go for the hot zoanthid, red hornet, or something like that. You would only need to grow right now 10-15 polyps...

 Wow, only 10...jeeze who would have thunk it.
