I just got this Amazeball goni, it's a coral I've been wanting to get for a while now. Some high end corals are not readily available or affordable here in Canada compared with the states. Even my mandarin is impressed by this goni :)

I have gonis growing in my tank already so know the basics about goni care but I've read that the Amazeball can be more finicky than other types of gonis. Anyone have success growing this goni can offer any tips?

Thanks.

My amazeball has been no different than any other Goni. In fact, it’s one of my most tolerant gonis. When others close up, this one is always open.

I don't have this particular coral so I can't offer any advice, but your picture is awesome! So much color in one shot!

Hey! I’m in Ottawa, if you ever frag it, I’d love to buy a piece off you

My experience with them over the last two years is they are a little finicky.. seems to like slightly lower light than the others I keep. But every tank is different and clearly others have different experience. Best of luck - they are gorgeous! 🙂

I'd wish I'd known this sooner... I ended losing my frag and I believe it was because I had it in higher par than it likes:(
