I just got my new Reefbrite XHO setup, and I figured I would take some shots just to show it off :)
This is them.

This shows off the spread.

And this shows off the 1" high profile.

I'm hoping to get my paws on a PAR meter, and then I'll take some more shots of them in action.

It's only 5 Reefbrite strips attached together, but it is the new XHO strips - not the older Tech strips. The XHOs have 36 LEDs, instead of 24. I got it from my buddy Paul at villagefrags.com

No, it does not dim. I have heard that Reefbrite is developing dimmable replacement drivers, but mine have 5 strips which you can turn on and off, one-by-one, to make it somewhat "dimmable".

Geez there still working on the dimmable drivers? They told me this a year ago from reefbrite directly and still nothing! They need to pony up!

Iv'e seeen this fixture....Nice and clean look over the tank.

i asked him on our local forum what its going on and have yet to get a responce. but i know he has two 30 gall 48" long tanks and a 120 6ft tank. i think he has LED's already on one frag tank so im guessing either the other frag tank or his 120

i dont think so. reefbrites dont have optics. besides i can raise them.

With 5 strips on a 33L who needs optics, lol.

I had 3 strips *Tech* first model on my 33L frag tank all grew well including SPS. I had the White, 50/50, and Blue Combo.

I finally got my paws on a PAR meter, so I figured I'd take some measurements of what PAR my new lights are putting out over my frag tank. My frag tank is 12" deep, but I couldn't exactly get the sensor down on the bottom. So I took the PAR measurements at 0", 6" and 10" (0" being right under the water level). My lights have 72 white LEDs and 108 blue LEDs. The LEDs are 3-watters, but they are pushing 1-1/2 watts apiece. The reason for the lower wattage is to control the temperature so it doesn't overheat and the lights will last the full 50,000 hours.
