its been set up for about 3 years now i need to post some more pics i have added more coral and fish and moved stuff around i have even got some sps just to try them out and see how they do with my lights
i guss you can see how dirty my sand is i did have a sand sifting star but it died couse all the spaghetti worms cant get rid of them i know every body says they help clean but their making my sand look nasty any one got any addvice on how to get red of them
Are you talking about the yellow worms that kinda resemble Sarlaac's pit from Return of the Jedi? If so, I've never had an issue with those. Some fish might munch on them, but not sure which ones are more inclined and won't eat coral (wrasses, maybe).
I use cucumbes for stirring the top layer of sand. I've got a 8-12" cuke in each system with sand. I've never had any issues with them when they couldn't reach the powerheads. The mopheads seem to stay in the sand.
i need to get a nother clean up crew and some more sand sifting stars i guss. have you ever had any issues with the cucumbers i have been told they can poison the tank im made mad
