Hello everyone,

I am a biologist from Germany. We are working on the topic of coral-algae symbiosis. However mostly we culture and work with Aiptasias as a model system (As most of you will have realized they are much easier to propagate than corals ;) ).
I do not have a reef tank myself but I hope being involved here will give some inspiration and new ideas for some of the challenges we face in the lab.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Please keep us posted with your project! :)

Willkommen to Reef2Reef!

So is your screen name because you drive a VW, or because you specialize in the study of beatles? Either way...very cool name.

I look forward to reading about your research, and can only imagine how a tank must look when you actually intend to grow aiptasia.
