I just aquired a RPS-3000 in a trade for a plate coral. It has the recirculating pump and I want to use a sedra3500 for the feed pump. My questions are: 1. Does anyone have any experience with this skimmer? (pro/cons) 2. Will using the sedra3500 be overkill on the bubbles? 3. Any feed back on this would be greatly appreciated.

What's the water volume of the system you will be using it on? You want to feed the skimmer 1 to 1.5 times your water volume. It helps to have a ball valve between the pump and the skimmer so you can "tune" it if you are planning to use a pump that's rated higher.
