Polyp Bail Out

My hammer bailed. Any suggestions on what to do with it? I imagine it would have to stay super still in order to rebuild a skeleton (if its even possible?) but i have no way of keeping it from moving.

I saw a post here not too long ago where someones hammer bailed and was placed in similar container but it never grew a skeleton again. It was happy and healthy for months and probably still is.

I believe in the same thread it was mentioned that the base it bailed from was left in the tank and months later it grew another head.

Maybe place it in a small deli container with holes and add some crush rubble rock with a little sand to which it could attach?

I've had a frogspawn grow to softball size that my LFS superglued to a piece of dead skeleton what was cut to look like a mini piece of driftwood.
