First ill say this, I am moving so I figure it is a good time upgrade tanks because I hate how my current 39gal turned out.

For the new tank I am thinking of doing a cube, either the Marineland Rimless 45g (24x24x18), or the slightly larger rimless 60g (24x24x24).
I will either build a stand or buy one if I can get the combo tank/stand for good price. There will most likely be a second cabinet next to the tank for the 20g sump and ato.
Protein skimmer will be a RO NWB-110 currently being used.

For the scape I was thinking of doing a curve were the rock is almost at the top in the back right corner and slopes down to the sand closer to the opposite corner. I have decided that I will be using BRS dry pukani rock. Any thoughts on this type of scape? Has it worked well for others in the past or should I rethink this? The powerhead (Jebao WP-10) will be mid left side blowing at the rock.

Also anyone with comment/concerns on cube tanks? Ive seen a few but not a whole lot. Ive been following Inkedsparkster's 95g tank build and his cube is awesome so I want to give it a try.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
