Posting pictures issues

Two issues just figured I'd ask about-

Sizing on the pics-

I typically size my pictures at 5x5, and the board I post them on modifies them to fit the forum page. So far that doesn't seem to work on here-will this be changed on the forum side or should I start using small sized pictures so they don't distort the forum?

Photobucket issue-

Somewhere between every 4-5 pictures, I'll have a "photobucket has moved this image" claim when I post the post. Just had this where I used a copy and paste to put the code into the forum post-pasted in, put up the post, got the error image showing as a result. I clicked edit, and without a new copy, just repasted the code, hit save edit-and I'm good to go, picture shows up no issues.
Photobucket side or forum side?

Oh, and possible issue-clicking edit post, I often have to click it 5 times to get it to go to edit post. Nowhere else on the forum do I have to repeat click anything, just to do an edit.

Problem #1: I have this happen too, and only here, so I assume forum issue, not PB issue?

Problem #2: Yes, I too have to click the Edit Post button twice to go into the advanced mode... quick edit won't pop up. This was brought up before in a forum issues thread.

Anybody else still having issues with the pictures? In addition to adding current pictures (I almost never get the first image posted), old threads also show numerous images as being deletec or having broken links.

the auto image resizing is a vbulletin mod that is not used on this site (yet)

Yes sadly the update didn't fix the "percent" symbol issue that is effecting pics from photobucket. Still trying to figure that one out.

the percent sign is the issue? Hah...makes sense as it's in portions of the URL....and here I thought the percent sign issue wasn't anything important. You win again computer coding!

Yea, but the % sign is only an issue the first time it's posted. % <-- see? Is there a problem in the code on the repeater string? and if that sounded like I knew anything about coding: weird. If that sounded like an inept talking about something that he knows nothing about: spot-on :xd:

smilie faces prevent the percent sign issue somehow, please note neither of these posts has been edited, so couldn't go back and fix

EDIT: well, I was wrong and then some- weird thing is putting a smilie worked on the for sale threads I had put up, but didn't work now. And here I thought I was onto something...

One work around for the % sign is to post in advanced mod every time. For some reason there are no issues then.

ah, that might have been why I wasn't having an issue. I thought it was my smiley face being the solution. Oh well, the trials of Science!

Yea, I do the %<- Gratuitous Percentage Sign at each picture post-except the ones where I forget to.

Hey Brian, I thought the smilie face thing was a fix too... it seemed to work a couple times for me. But I didn't like doing that, because a smilie face really ruins my post when I'm trying to be an **** :wink:
