Powerhead Magnet Waterproof?

In my 50-gallon AIO, I want to mount the power heads to the back wall. However, this will mean that some if not most of the “external” magnet will be submerged in the back sump section. I'm wanting to use something like the Nero 3’s or 5’s or maybe a Gygre but I am concerned about the magnet that's usually outside the tank. Thoughts?

Every manufacturer is different, you need to check with them. But all is not lost if it is not waterproofed. @PNWCustom make waterproof magnets, plus you can get rubberized ones online.
