Just curious, I have the Hydor controller with two of the Hydor Nano 420 powerheads in my Coralife Biocube 29. I seem to have some dead spots in the sand. Just curious where do the members of Reef2Reef place their powerheads in the Coralife Biocube 29. My are on the two side walls one slightly higher than the other. Would love to hear what other people are doing. Thanks.

Great question. I have been wondering this as well. I have a 29G Biocube with (1) Hydor Nano 420 power head mounted in between the first chamber intakes but I seem to have dead spots in the lower back corners and between my rock and the back wall. I have been thinking of getting another power head but didn't know if it would be too much flow as my clowns like to sleep in the back corners.

Following along. Thanks for asking the question.

In my 29 I have a nano in middle on the back and then one more toward the front on the side blowing back. This seems to get rid of the dead spots on lower rear of the tank.
