Funny is, I have ribs marinating with a rub for grill later and made some shrimp a few minutes ago. Butter garlic with herbs and and other seasonings.
This is one of 3 batches:

Just in case i am misunderstanding, what exactly happened to the tank after the velvet outbreak?
Here’s The breakdown white spots hit started a reef safe treatment (Fritz) to buy time and get hospital 55 up and running. Along the way lost 3 tangs a CBB to disease and 2 during capture for transfer. Possum wrasse rode a rock out even shaking and holding in water he cut himself flopping around in cave couldn’t save him.
Fish in hospital completed 2 weeks copper and will stay in a copper free tank till display can be considered free of disease ( fallow period) which is 70 plus days zero fish for parasites to host and drop to reproduce they will eventually starve out.
I’m going to see what water test by aquabiomics can confirm for fish disease presence and give comfort level to restocking rank.

Hi guys and gals, My two pack of water tests from Aquabiomics comes in Friday! Nice Memorial Day sale got em for 125 beans. Pretty cool looking forward to what it shows not just for fish pathogens but for my micro biome diversity.
Still sucking the Cupramine out of the hospital tank. Flush looking good overall a little weight loss but all are eating and appetites should improve once back to straight salt water.
Still been to wiped out from holiday weekend now work to glue up the Zoa garden but it’s on rap for this weekend do pics will be forthcoming.
Stay well and someone drop me sold spam if fish and coral together in one Tank!

Hey fellow saltaholics got my Aquabiomics kits in today. Seems straightforward enough take water sample and swab a surface. Now I just need to figure out where I want to stick that swab ( there are a few people who may have off color suggestions :p) it needs to be opaque and free of light so prolly take cap off return. Psyched to see results.
Pics of Zoas for garden all looking awesome and acropora had one side bleached from trip to sand during rescape almost fully recovered now

#Rant I’ve run electrical wiring in my day. We always left some wire for the future pulling an outlet give ya some to work with so why ATI is their barely enough wire to get the bulb cap popped out of frame never mind plugging a new one in grrrrrrrr. More than doubled the time it took for job but all tubes are firing without issue again.
Now off to the next job

Yesterday out for the day with wife apex alarm for temp came on. I forgot to turn ac on downstairs Called my son he flipped it on and I had him install ac in hospital tank room upstairs.
When I got home all was well downstairs and up.
In my stupidity I didn’t check upstairs to see what son had set ac on ( full bore) This morning room was frozen turned ac to lower setting no temp display just a old fashioned dial set it to three. Fish were ok staying near heater duh and I hoped the water would come up nice and slow which it did.
Once I finished work on downstairs tank went to check and WC and add meds to hospital tank but it wasn’t pretty.
After two weeks copper and a week of clean water the temp swing proved to much for the Foxface, one blue green chromis, and the smallest one spot cardinal. :(

I have thru negligence killed more fish in my care. This is a bigger shot to the jewels than velvet. I have now lost my two favorites who trusted me and fed from my hand CBB and Foxface.

If I was offered cash for it all right now I’d take it . I don’t deserve to have these animals in my care.
