Say hey saltaholics! Little maint tonight skimmer sicks manual gha removal of which there is less of ;) then a lrs feeding. Was holding a nice chunk frozen in front of gyre let em nip and chase bits when the Maroon did his imitation of a flipping great white shark! He nailed the chunk and my finger and promptly put the whole chunk in his nems mouth smh
Quick 10 gal wc to tired to go all out. Testing and pics tomorrow. The Kenya is larger than I've ever seen it. Height and width it's stupid big. Catch ya tomorrow for pics
I love, love, LOVE maroon clowns. I have had one in every tank I have had in the past, but I wanted a change in this one so I went with the black ice ones I have now. Maroons are such a beautiful deep shade of red -- they really pop in the tank. I love their personalities. Plus you get to hear the jaws theme in the background as they approach your fingers -- super cool.

@Fla04gbf Thanks for stopping in and checking out the thread!
Hi Ray, just found your thread a few days ago and has been following since. Finally finished reading everything ( more or less...). I am really inspired by the effort your put in and your fighting spirit! I felt for you for all the mishaps and disasters along your tanks journey. But honestly i believe it is heading the right direction now and almost there with the gha and no3 battle. Hang in there and you will hit the perfect number very soon.
i started checking your tank because mine tank was set up just a couple of months after your. Last August but mine was just a pico back then and recently upgraded to a 25g Nano ( maybe still a pico in your standard ). Anyway to cut the long story short. I had the similar problem with the no3 being high for many months and i made the mistake of adding corals andfish too quickly ..... now just over a month into my upgrade. I am quite happy with the setup and parameters are good. Waiting for my sps frags to start growing out a bit. Here is a pic of my current setup. Keep up with the good work, Ray. Reefing on!
