Hideous neighbors, started burning in the 8 new t5 bulbs tonight. Wife and I had checked some combinations out visually online and she liked the bluer deeper water look so went 4 blue plus, 2 coral plus, a purple plus, and a actinic. My phone can’t really adjust out this much blue but new phones coming in Thursday so hopefully can get better pics with the reefbrite that I’ll mount up tomorrow.

Gooooood morning fellow Salties
Skipped work today so caught the sunrise sunset channel one firing off. This is at 100 % one bulb blue+ and actinic on channel 1. I will say it will add a nice ramp up color but with even just actinic and blue plus thought it would be brighter at 100%

Guys gals promise last post for a while. New lights all burning in. Left on to do list install vdm for reefbrite control ( once burned in ready to dim) as well as hook up icecap gyre to apex thru it. Here’s best pics I can get can only adjust 8 k temp in app hope new phone will give me better control.

TY she is a beauty so great to catch her out and about. She loves the cave in middle of tank and spends most time in back or scape so was psyched to catch her out long enough for a pic or two

TGIF friends fixed a few issues today/last night apex clock corrected reset timers on outlets for lights that were spazzing out and disassembled gyres. Found out gyres we’re running in reverse...’.’something with new wireless icecap controller ??? Not sure but inverted them in hydros now they are running forward. I thought I put the blades on wrong took it apart a 2nd time nope.... Went on a pod hunt nada around so picked up cpl other items rather wife and I did.

If those are the zoas I think they are, isolate them on rubble rock in the sand or they will take over bud. They look like the ones that took over my rock up front.

Hey Salt Heads hope everyone is having a good weekend and staying healthy safe and sane!
#honestyinreefing I killed bulbs on new ATI sunpower :-( I did a factory reset but didn’t know/ check the fan settings. Once bulbs were shutting down did better research and found the settings were jacked up! Got the settings out of negative thousands to reccomended settings dud duagnistic self test to ensure fans ramp up properly and now good to go with new bulbs.

Things looking good today window Torch is full size and liking chosen location. The new Zoas are stunning in color only 1 side polyp not fully opened. Moved my toadstool leather that was growing cockeyed found it a spot left if rank so now have these guys like bookends

Liking the progress all around a boss ( my wife ) is happy

Hi guys and gals Was a busy Sunday 25 gal WC and I stalked vdm module. Gyre control and xho now connected to apex. To lazy now to take a good fts so a view from the couch will have to do. Loving the color of the tank with t5 and xho led.
