What are your experiences with coco worms? Do they die quickly? Does one color seem more hardy than the other?

Chime in. Looking for opinions on a coco worm garden for my new tank.

Coco worms rock my friend. by red and gold do you mean fire coco worms?? I had one for about 6 months and it was thriving in my reef until my frogspawn fell ontop of it. be sure to feed it though. its a filter feeder so get some good food for it like cyclopeeze and rodifers etc. good luck and be sure to post pics

Yea as stated above they need to be fed to stay alive so its a light responsabilty. If you feed it yes they are hardy corals and will do fine with about anything.

I had a red and white for the past 18 months. I had no problem with it until recently. I let my alkalinity get to low and I haven't seen it since. Mine had two heads and if you would look close you could see a green color transfer back and forth between the heads. It did like minimal flow and I kept is at the bottom in the sand. It looked just like this one.
