I would just like some assistance with a relay board

Can I use the DB9 pins as the input pins and the terminal headers 5v and GND for the relay and not connect pin5 of the db9

I'm planning to use the attached relay boards and they require 5v and gnd

download.jpg

I used pins 1 and 2 with an external 5V source to be able to operate my relay, I think that's what you want to do

I have repaired the headers problem, just removed and soldered U8 in the Picoboard.

Hey @theatrus

Just a quick heads up. I got my revD beta board a couple of weeks ago. Thank you. I followed all the instructions provided Ranijb in the main thread and have successfully connected a Milwaulkee MA911B/2 pH probe. Calibration went smoothly and values are quite stable so far.

Sorry for asking so many noob questions on this thread

I got the 5v relays working correctly now.
But was wondering how the wiring of the audio jack should be for the temp probe?

All that is left for me after the temp is the ph section

For temperature sensor , checkout the adafruit guide on wiring details and blueacro/pico board github page for configuration

How should the ph probe be set up for the pico board?
Is there a post I can reference?

Setup is just like the others. The pico board is ready for a probe to be connected. you then setup and calibrate like in the main thread. I found my probe was at address 72 with the pico board.

You need 3.0 beta builds at least. Create a driver first, with address 72 and type pico board . Then create an analog input connector with pin 0 and associate the driver. Next, create a ph probe and associate the analog input with it. That’s all

@theatrus can you please add this to the doc/readme , that we can easily refer going forward. I think others will need this information as well

Can anyone help me with two questions about these boards?

1. How many temp sensors can it support as is?
2. Can it only support one of those ADJ power strips or can I expand it to control more?

Also, has anyone heard when they'll be back in stock?

Thank you

1. “Several” - you’ll need to splice the wires yourself. Some people can run 10, others start having problems with three. It really depends on the probes and any other electrical interference.
2. Soon. I’m doing a small revision to correct some manufacturing pains / fix silk screen since I went through all the panels I had previously.

Hi there!

I'm new in this hobby (my IM 25 lagoon just finished cycling and fish are coming next week - unfortunately to QT and not to the DT).

I am not a developer but an enthusiast when it come to things like this; I had setup a couple raspberry-pi's in the past (home media entertainment and an arcade console).

How could I get one of this boards? Are they on sale somewhere or is still in prototype?

Thanks in advance,
