Should I break the frag plug?

How would I detach these mushrooms or should I break the frag plug because it just is too big

Would it be better than cutting the mushrooms off the plug?
Cutting not a good idea, you could try slipping a razor blade under them, but then you have the issue of attaching them to a rock, mushrooms are well known for not sticking to a rock with glue, they can un-attach themselves, then you can either try putting a lasticband around them and the rock you want them to attach too or put them in a mushroom box with some rock pieces and hope they attach themselves to a piece…far safer and less stressful to break the frag plug and hope you don’t cut one in half, then attach that to where ever you want it.

Cutting the plug is the best idea. Or let them grow
