Well, I've been working on the tank slowly, but I'm having a blast. So far I've added cabinet lighting, used broadfields return nozzle idea, and started on the hard plumbing. Let me know what you think!

This is where it's going to be in my office. Everything's a mess so excuse me for that. You can also see the nano I'm upgrading from. Baby swing in front of it because believe it or not, my baby loves to fall asleep in front of the aquarium. That might actually be why my wife let me do this haha.

Sure did. Had to fix it with major silicone per Red Sea. Kinda bothers me because of what I paid, but I have a tank rather than dealing with a whole tank trade.
What do you mean "major silicone". Silicone caulk? Thread tape? Was the pipe joint faulty and they just told you to silicone it?

@AMEE what kind of fans are those. Could a get a closer look at them? It's getting really hot in Tucson now. I believe I'm gonna have to do something like that.

They are made by a company called AC Infinity. I got them from amazon. They have a couple different kinds, also sell a controller which would handy if I didn't have them running with my Apex. They are for home theater use but work great so far.

Anybody knows who has the best refugium on a reefer 170 or algae scrubber? I want to look into doing something I can squeeze in and manage in the small sump we have.

I'm wondering if the new Skimz macro algae reactor would fit in the sump with the skimmer. BRS recently advertised the Skimz.
