Guys bit of a silly question lol. Anyone else also having trouble taking pics of their reefers? All my pics comes out very blue. I tell you why im asking, on my previous tank i ran exactly the same lights with exactly the same radion schedule using the same phone ( Samsung galaxy S7) All my pics came out awsome. Now everytime i try to take a pic its comes out blue. Has it got something to do with the low iron glass or the black backwall ? Any ideas?

Yea I had him make it custom for me. He made it “backwards” so the bulkheads would be on the right and the return on the left. He also made it a little bit shorter than he normally would so it would fit in the stand but I had him make it as long as possible (had to fit it between the hinges)

alexnyc22 saw this sump at RAPNYC. Its 0ur new GEO R Series PRO 36"x 15" x 15" We will have two of these at MACNA New Orleans and soon to post on our website. We built the PRO 36" with drains on the right for Red Sea aquariums. Here is one going to MACNA.

Yea absolutely amazing product! Fits like a glove, looks amazing, and comes with pretty much everything needed to get it up and running! BTW looks like I’m going to be needing that matching ATO reservoir haha

Beautiful work!!! I'm looking for a new sump for my Reefer 425 XL. Geo do you or would you make something that has a water flow of drains, refugium, skimmer, return? (Triton system) I'm looking to get a refugium section that holds at least 8 gallons.

Put s7 in pro mode and slide white balance all the way right.

Before I commit to hard plumbing the tank, I thought it would be easier to just hook up the vinyl tubing that came with the tank. But can't seem to find an equivalent part to the one that came from RedSea to connect the vinyl tubing to the Vectra M1 return pump. Have checked Lowes & Home Depot, no luck. Do I need to order this directly from RedSea? Also, if using the vinyl tubing, do people use hose clamps? I had stainless steel hose clamps on a freshwater sterilizer for a while, but the screws would rust within 6-8 months, and certainly don't want that to happen in this tank. Would zip ties be tight enough to secure the tubing?

Yea you need to order it from them because it’s a different sized fitting. I have 2 here if you need one. Where are you located?

My only negative feedback with the Nyos is the vibrating cap on the collection cup. Other than that, the thing is a beast, especially because of its size.

looks like you have a nice compact sump. how many gallons? i am trying to justify the nyos 120 - prob going to get a 40-50 gallon tank so idk if the size sump i'd get would support the nyos's size or not.

That's the stock reefer 250 sump, think it's 10-12 gals. The nyos does have a small footprint, plenty of more room for non sense.

Anyone have a couple sock trays/holders (the grey slide in trays) for Reefer sump they're looking to get rid of?

I want to spray paint the red part of the gate valves in my setup, as the rest of the plumbing is green. The combo ain't pretty ;Vomit

Would Krylon Spray Paint be safe? It's the "Fusion for Plastics" version: (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BZX3YY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1)

@Broadfield, would you recommend finishing it with Verathane Polyurethane? I saw you suggested this one in another thread (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Varathan...ter-Based-Floor-Polyurethane-230231/100142887), but am having trouble finding that one locally. Would this one be comparable? (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FPCKBW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1), or is there another you would suggest? Only found your original suggestion from Amazon for $39 plus $14 shipping, which ain't happening

These would be above the water line, but just want to be sure it's safe for the tank! Thank you!

Also, would either the spray paint or Verathane impede movement of the valve itself? Obviously, that would make the idea a no-go!

750xxl making progress:
Started 500mg of bio pellets 2 weeks ago. Tank has been running 6 weeks now. Nitrates between 15-20. You may be able to see some zoas and rics doing well.

I've got an eBay order from WWC coming when Harvey passes.
