Heck yeah I like this scape! Completely different style than my usual. Deep sand bed and a lot of rock.
Waiting on 2 Vivids RFG. Have to hook up the Hygger return pump, 600 gph.

Cycling 15 days now. Will proceed with water change next week and than move the Royal Gramma, Misbar Clown and Neon Goby over.

Lighting and Zoanthids next month.

Thank you, that means a lot.
I struggle with stack of rocks syndrome. I am rarely happy with any scape, and it's disastrous when I get the glue and epoxy out.

Today is day 21 for the IM 25 gallon. No detectable ammonia post bolus challenge 2 days in a row. Nitrate around 10 with no detectable phosphate via Salifert.
I dosed TM Plus N/P, Microbactor7 and Ammonium Bicarbonate daily during the cycle. Performed a 3 gallon water change.
Moved over the Neon Goby, Gold Banded Coral Shrimp, Mis-Bar Clown and a Royal Gramma. All tolerated the transfer well.

Yay, a small milestone. Sigh lighting next.

Checking in - flourishing with corals yet or you’re still coasting for now?
It's coming to my attention that temperature and pH in hot S. Arizona requires a different approach. Consumption of trace elements decreased as temp increased. Bacterial and algae growth increased with a temperature increase from 78-80.
An IM 25 gallon is much more stable than a 6 gallon Pico. Hopefully I can balance, it's always a learning curve.

Really. Lol

Hmmm who just put together an IM 25 with Anemones? I have not added any corals for a couple months now.

In the 14 gallon IM. Flame Angel in quarantine. The Angel is tiny, as in the size of a dime. Using Angel specific foods. Three weeks since purchase from Petco. Cost 54.00 compared to 100 plus and shipping. Really invested in this fish.

All three for sure are my favorites. I have been tempted to try the Yellow. Love the Cherub as well. Long story short need a much bigger tank. 😏

Loving the Meridian. The BOT mount is definitely better than the side brackets (I bought both). The manual control knobs are great. I will never own a app controlled only fixture again.
Yes I removed the sand. I have been wanting a BB system for ALONG time. There are some nice Chalice cooking on the bottom, with Zoanthis, and Clams.
Fish in this tank are three yellow tail damsels, one yellow damsel and one clown. With so many damsels it is an active tank. There are so many places for the fish to flee to that aggression hasn't been too bad.
Tried Coral Snow, great stuff!!!! Bi monthly water changes keeping chemistry wnl thus far. Next up will be hooking up the dosing pump for kalk.

Enjoyed reading the thread! Any updates on the pico?
Thank you.

It's still going strong, functioning as a coral, other invert, and occasionally fish observation tank.
I am thinking of getting a BTA for that one.
