A lesson learned from the murky world of eBay frags.....
I strictly have two guys on eBay that are always spot on.well encrusted frags, heat packs great colour on arrival etc etc.
I broke my golden rule to get hold of one of my grail corals the strawberry shortcake acro.
One image below is the WYSIWYG image & one is what arrived.
Swiftly dipped thoroughly & placed in tank.
Still a tiny amount of green showing which gives me some hope but let's be honest it's looking bleak....
What's my percentage chances of a remarkable turnaround?

Both UK based hobbyists who sell through ebay after pruning.usually Monti's.
If you're UK based I'm happy to share user id's.
Anything higher end I use coralbarn or prestigereef as the quality is fantastic.this Is
Clearly a hack & glue job to order.
I certainly won't be making this mistake again!

i cant think

this coral is simply brown, give it 300+ PAR (I have mine in 450ish) and wait 6 months. This coral will colour up it just needs time and patience. If possible though you ideally should aim for a WYSIWYG coral if you want a dream coral.

Your chances of a turn around are high as long as it isn’t already going through STN or RTN.

It was a WYSIWYG evidently.

So who are the guys you get stuff from regularly?

I feel like this is information that is not shared enough. I dont even buy online because I simlpy expect to get shafted like that.
Yeah I think this all the time… Sure its possible one hard to please customer can disproportionately ruin sales but IMO too often over politeness results in many poor quality sales…and bad vendors ripping people off
