Super skimmer 220 mod, again.

Just gutted out the center baffel out of my super skimmer. Painfully i might add. So far seems to be working like a beast. This is in prep for my sedra 3500.

I will, i have to go back in and cut some more. I'm not happy with it yet, but my hand is all jacked up from forcing it in and out of the skimmer body. It's pretty much doubled the reaction chamber.

Sedra 3500 hooked up, probably could have put the 5000 on it but i was afraid it would be to much. It's kicking out mad bubble though!

This skimmer actually wouldn't be bad if they left out the center baffle and put a better pump on it.

So new pump broken in, skimmer working at least as good as an asm g2.

So what exactly did you do to the skimmer?

Removed the center baffle completely and replaced the pump with a sedra 3500. I've done other stuff to it but now that stuff has been undone.

It probably could have handled the sedra 5000. I was afraid it would be to much and blow micro bubbles out like crazy though. I'm going to mesh mod the sedra next week.
