I just realized I put that post about my hammer in the wrong thread. Sorry!
It's fine. This thread is like the Seinfeld show. A thread about nothing. 😎

My morning beach walk was a dud. It was very windy, and the waves were up to the bulkhead and I didn't want to swim back. It was also a little dark as it gets at this time of the year. Soon I will have to bring my flashlight.

Beach chair graveyard? If there’s never anyone there, why is 5ere so many chairs??

I think the waves and darkness is due to Hurricane Erin
That section of beach is about a half mile from mine. It is behind a summer community of bungalows or summer cottages and they store their stuff on that bulkhead.

Even with all that stuff, at the time I walk, I have almost never seen anyone. Remember I walk at 6:00am 😎

This is closer to my house. The beach with the chairs is at the end of my walk.

In this direction, east, you will have to go about 8 miles before you find any civilization.

On my morning beach walk, I walked pretty far. I came across this Teepee, but no one was home. The Indians must have been out buffalo hunting for skins to cover this thing with.
(I can call them Indians because I am not PC, and I know some Native Americans, and they like the name Indian better.)

I'm married to a woman who is 25% inupac native Alaskan... I call her my Squaw all the time but probably not even in her native language

We have an appointment with a Gamma Knife Doctor. This guys Father actually invented the treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia and my wife went to him many years ago and it worked for a couple of years. Now we are going to his Son because he croaked.

I hope this works.

Hello Paul setting up a new tank and unlike in 2019 i can no longer get ocean live rock in the UK anymore now i want to feed my fish clams from the fish mongers should i freeze these before i feed them or drop them right in i don't think parasites from the cold UK shores can live in our tropical waters but i am not sure what do you think?

I love when British say fish mongers across the pond. We don’t say it here, and I think we should. 😂

What kind of parasites are there? Do you eat raw clams from trustworthy fish mongers? If so, I don’t see why it would matter. Chop it up and throw it in.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from listening to Paul, it’s that feeding fresh keeps fish stronger and less susceptible to most bacteria or parasites that are introduced. And if he can take fresh stuff straight from the disgusting Long Island Sound, I don’t think you’ll have much of an issue. But that’s my 2 quid worth 😂

If you are worried about parasites, just freeze the clams. You can't keep them fresh longer than a couple of days anyway so you will have to freeze them. Your home freezer won't hurt the benefiaial bacteria much anyway.

I have been eating raw oysters and clams all my life so the threat is small but I know some people get sick easily from raw seafood.

We don't call them Fishmongers here. My family was in the sea food business since the beginning of time. They are just called Sea Food markets or fish stores. 😎

Here is my Dad on the left in 1927 in his Fathers fish market (on the right) He was 27 here and was born in 1910 😀
