Tampa Bay Saltwater is Florida's first Live Rock farm. Established in 1984 by Richard Londeree, TBS continues today with Jocelyn & Madelyn farming, diving and shipping. We are a small family run business that specialize in sustainable ocean harvested live rock.
Shipping ocean harvested live rock is tricky business. It is not only heavy and wet, but full of lifeforms that we care deeply about. Providing healthy living live rock to enthusiasts across the lower 48 is what TBS is about. While we highly recommend shipping submerged rock via air cargo, many customers asked for smaller amounts shipped to their doors.
Our solution is the TBS Treasure Chest. These small boxes travel bumpy roads on brown trucks to your door.

Rock'n Brown Trucks: Each order is packed in insulated boxes with care, oxygenated water and ice/heat as needed. M & J personally deliver Treasure Chests directly to the Tampa UPS distribution center late on Mondays for Tuesday arrivals. Tracking information is emailed after the boxes have been delivered to UPS.
