My other hobby is orphan kitten rescue. When area animal rescues get litters of kittens whose mothers have died, I usually get a call. I've bottle-fed more kitties than you can shake a stick at. (Please don't shake sticks at cats btw ;Joyful ).

My user name is from my rescue email and is a play on the phrase "crazy cat lady". Hopefully, I'm not actually crazy, but I do love how regal, soft and loving cats are. A purring cat is music to my ears. I'm going to stop before it's confirmed that I AM a crazy cat lady! ;Cat

(My husband had a building built on our property to house the rescue cats until they get adopted. I just wanted to say that I don't have a bunch of cats in the house. Lol. Just one pet cat in my home. So, not crazy??)

I make live edge river tables and accessories. I also just made a fractal wood burning machine from an old microwave. That's been fun.

That's one very unique hobby/pastime IMO.

Me too I'm a Chevy/GM tech, and I used to do alot on the side. Got tired of it. And found some joy in making things. besides now it's a totally new set of tools I get to buy lol

Well...I'm a librarian and I majored in literature and Library Science -- so yeah...I like to read and collect rare books. I also love movies (all kinds), and going out to dinner with friends. Before children, I was an actress and my husband was a comedian -- we actually met in a play. We still love the theatre and comedy clubs. Once the kids go off to college and I retire, I'll likely get back into it.

I have collected LEGO sets since I was a kid, and as I am nearing 50 that’s a pretty long time. I have slowed down considerably as my reefing has surged but I still have several hundred sets.

I also enjoy reading military history, and have a pretty sizable library of that.

I enjoy woodworking along with Computers. I like to combine the two by designinging everying in CAD/Sketchup and them making them into a reality. I also enjoy 3D printing as it is the same concept but on a smaller scale. The rest of my time goes to the family and the pets!

I collect bourbons. Well by collect I mean buy different bourbons and drink them. I'm not one of those that buys them and then sells them for more money. They are meant to be consumed!! LOL This hobby also mixes well with my reefing hobby. Nothing better than enjoying a good bourbon and watching my tank to enhance my calm.

I also love to travel. Anywhere and everywhere.
