Oh I’m down to throw in my .02, but as soon as people start throwing chemistry equations out there, I recognize my place real quick. Haha. Some people are on a whole other level of reefing and I love it and love how they attempt to put complex topics in layman’s terms for some of us who are interested. I don’t however like when people aggressively disagree with each other when all parties are clearly very bright people, just keep it civil it’s really not hard... and the token r2r trolls that show up to stir the pot...That gets old quick. I’m real sick of the trolls.

;Troll ;)

I think things tend to get out of hand quickly when things are taken not as how they were meant to be taken. Then everyone ends up getting defensive over a misunderstanding. It's the unfortunate side effect of being an online forum. Things can and will be misinterpreted and people can and will react quickly, especially when the misinterpretation is in the form of there opinions or messages being reacted to negatively or in what they perceive as harshly.

Just opt out! It's what I do most the time and it's worked wonders.

It certainly can work wonders! So does the Ignore button, my list is ever so long, almost as long as the to do list for my tank;):p

Anyway, I think we're going to need some more pictures to get back on track here;Snaphappy

Okay!

This is what two $800 frags look like when they die from heat exposure on the ride home.

Get coolers when it's 106° outside. The car AC didn't stop the cups from getting over 90° on the drive home.

SO not the eye candy I'm accustomed to here, Sorry for the loss. And a hard lesson learned, I would have probably done the same, my truck AC is usually really good. Now I dunno if I'll trust it again, although thankfully we don't get up to 109°F around here much if atall.

Two RRU rainbow blossom frags going to @SneakyTortuga -- They were cut off my backup colony at a friends because they were nicer than the ones I could get off my colony at the time, so he's settling for slightly smaller ones. I've got two colonies at home, and three colonies out with friends who keep them alive and growing in case of emergency.

That’s amazing. I love banking frags. Good thinking with your collection for sure.

Well atleast they made it to the car. In all honestly all I'd have to do is look at them and they'd die.

Really smart thinking with the backup colony's.

These will be here tomorrow. So I suppose I'll get a few pics tomorrow of some things.

I've been waiting for the bonsai structure. 1 week no reply to 4 emails, two calls no call back. Bleh.

Well things got a little banged up in the mail but I think everything should recover.

In other news, the tank hit 81*... That means I got my super duper custom email alert that tells me "it's summer you lazy , get the fan"... Aye aye, me!

Summer fan -- Can take the tank from 83° down to 78, just low enough to trigger the heater.

I got a great deal on a 1/15th hp chiller that had only been used for macna. It has kicked on a couple times this summer already and I really love the peace of mind it gives as it drops the temp fast when it’s running. I considered a big fan but didn’t want it hanging on the side of the tank (I am going to get one for my frag tank as it keeps jumping over 81’)

ask me all you want so long as i'm not tagged in a thread of strangers where I have to defend every thought I have.

They took away my excellence award for a reason.

Aww your still excellent to us.

Glad to read your thread and learn so much from you. Hard to replace the experience and you have the coral to prove it.

lol, well what i was alluding to was I've always liked to be helpful, but not patient enough to deal with pedantic trolls or people who fling accusations without merit.
