That’s looks great.I split that piece up a bit so I don’t have. A large clump anymore but here are some other pics of it in my display
I glue it to 1” ceramic squares and let it grow out then trade it for stuff
This is in my larger tank
It grows really well in my SPS dominant tanks and adds a great splash of color

Ty it’s red chaeto... jk looks like Haliptilon sp. but i’m pretty sure it’s not that. Could most likely be from Gelidium but i have no idea what the exact species is. If u find out please lmk lol.@shrimppsacc, might you know the botanical genus of that one?? nice sample there.
Thanks for sharing! How nice they are! It makes sense to call them eye- candy. I know it costs a lot to have everything I can see from your photos. That’s mainly the reason for me not to build a saltwater tank at this time.Yes! Macros are awesome! Here’s some pictures of my sunlit refugium. Algae grows so much faster than coral it’s a constantly changing underwater garden. Perfect place for all those cool little invertebrates that would get lost in a larger aquarium. And many times I have to turn off my skimmer it’s so efficient at lowering nutrients.
To be clear- I meant more along the lines of substrate density and grain size. Big heavy grains to weigh them down, or fine grains that’ll pack down s d hold them in?It doesn't really matter, as macros don't take nutrients from the sand. I'm using 2" of aragonite
Thanks man.Gotcha. I've only had experience with the aragonite, and it works great.
Beautiful mate
