Picked up a tiny rhomboid from my QT person just last week:Lineatus are jerks. And pricey. 50 gallon is small or wrasse. I would watch adding more. Most fully grown and multiplies will be had as one wants more room. I would leave what you have. If you want to push luck more a radiant I would say or a yellow. If you got other fish in the 50 then it’s even less space. In a 50 o only keep one wrasse and keep them small to be fair to the fish. It’s you call. 4’ tanks and bigger is what I personally see a better fit
I just love these tiny fishes. How many wrasse is too many wrasse…

The Mystery was wrasse number 17 for the 5 footer and wrasse number 20 total.

Absolutely! So far the angels and Hologymnosus are pushing her around and keeping her lower in the hierarchy. Will be very interesting to see how this one behaves as it grows.
This guy is a Macropharyngodon negrosensis female. Common names vary depending on location but the most known one is the Black Leopard Wrasse.
I just want to say really quickly - supermales don’t exist. “Supermales” are a terminal phase male that is at the end of its lifespan (hence the often brighter colours). Terminal phase males are the same thing, just younger but usually with just as much colour if not more.![]()
Underrated but I got beyond lucky. Ordered a while ago 3 yellow Coris wrasse they immediately built a harem. Pure luck of course. Got a supermale and two females. It’s pretty darn cool.
I’d be cautious with the Red Coris later down the line, but I have 7 wrasse which peck around the rocks in my 5 foot system;Interested in opinions, have a yellow canary and red coris wrasse in my tank, still juveniles. I love leopards and would like to add a pair to my tank, but would it likely cause issues around rockwork with four wrasse picking over all the rocks? These are all favourites, just don't want to create a hostile work environment with competing :) . Tank is 5 foot and fed 3x daily.
She’s so cute! I miss mine, she vanished a few days before I left for Panama back in March, and I got her in December.showing off the jewel in my tank-->my chaoti wrasse!, been with me for about 2 mths now :)![]()
