I recently acquired this Indo Chalice Colony and it is thick around 1 3/4 inches. Has anyone else had a chalice this thick? Should I be worried about it’s growth and trim it back? It looks like the tissue is growing over the sides on the edges. It’s eating in the photo by the way.

The chalice is growing on whatever that is underneath rock/plug/tile/coral Skelton
