I'm also trying to decide what to do with mine. I figure I should probably decide on how to stock the IM 20 before filling another tank :thinking-face:
Well mine is up and cycled. I have a limited CUC and some Macro Algae in it plus the sand and aquascape complete. Light is ordered and, as of 15 minutes ago, prepping for shipping.
What return did you go with? Im thinking about trying an mj1200 because I have a few laying around but not sure if it will be too much. I'd like to get it running with stuff I have laying around if possible. I figure a Gen 4 XR15 should be enough light :zany-face: I have live rock so I should be able to insta cycle it.
Mines too small for Acros and such but it works good for circulating. I do plan on upgrading eventually.

I was looking at that one. I may end up going that route. I think using an mj1200 is going to be a hassle. I would have to go install a valve if it's too strong.
Also from ioaoi love it.
The only thing that I struggled with was the tubing size. The size that fits the pump is a hair too small for the barb on the tanks return nozzle. Really had to fight with it.

Hmm I have one of those here also but im not sure what I did with the end piece that allows the flow to be reduced. I think I may be a packrat :face-with-hand-over-mouth:
