Not much too update with the tank. Its cruising along nicely. I'm stretching my WCs to every 14 days or when I feel like it. I have started testing this tank every two weeks instead of weekly. No deaths to report and I still have 8 out if the 10 chromis. No algae in the tank even with PO4 0.45+ and NO3 25-40. Trates were down to 15 last test tho which is cool because I'm feeding the heck out of these guys. I have started cleaning the scrubber, emptying the skimmer regularly and changing socks before they overflow so I'm sure that's helping. Still manually dosing ESV 2 part daily but I'm only at 15ml.
I did have to pull my yellow banded possum wrasse because the sixline decided the possum was no longer welcome. They had been fine for over a year but the sixline decided 7ft of rocks and water is only big enough for one little wrasse. I was able to net the possum and move it down to the 40g where the Hippo is still growing out and it's doing fine. The Hippo has been growing out for almost a year now but I'm still not sure when I'll bring it up. I'm afraid of upsetting the harmony in the big tank but i know I'm going to have to bring it up at some point.
Back to gaming. I have six games started now and wonder if I'll finish any lol. I think I enjoy buying parts and building PCs more than actually playing games. i ran into the same issues when I used to ride. I bought an old BMW motorcycle once and spend the winter going through it. When spring got here I rode it a few rides then sold it. It was more fun to wrench on than ride. I guess that's just how I'm wired.
Forgot to add a pic.
WOW. My late sister was a WOW and EverQuest addict. She played competitively and it was pretty much all she did when she wasn't working. She built EverQuest characters up and got high in the rankings and would sell her character on eBay and start another. People would buy her character so they could act like they were great players and all they were really good at was spending money lol. She even had a gaming laptop at work and probably why she enjoyed working 3rd shift as a respiratory therapist. I used to build her gaming rigs but then she had me teach her and she started building her own. Good memories
