We did a thing... she's been at the LFS for a month, is healthy, very active and eating FROZEN!!! We also picked up a package of LRS Reef Frenzy, and a bottle of Reef Nutrition ROE. My friend bought a large frag (picture a 4" colony) on the buy one get one sale. She didn't want anything else, so I got another large "frag" for free.

I wanted to put this here as it pertains to your current situation. This is from the BRS calculator

Do not increase alkalinity levels more than 0.5meq/L or 1.4 dKH per day. If necessary spread the suggested dose out and test between doses.

Edit: I also try and do it at night as pH is usually lower and adding soda ash raises pH temporarily

Thanks, I've planned to only raise by no more than 0.5 dKH a day.

So thats what they mean by Friends with Benefits. My LFS had their annual sale today and I needed food and salt, I only spent 230.:D

Put some pink on top :)

I like the Figi pink, but I still have that second fourty pound bag of ocean direct. I'd have to rinse the crap out of it and PVC pipe it to the bottom. She moved a little while after I took that picture, can't see her anymore.

Good to know that they will use the Ocean's Direct. I was afraid they wouldn't like the larger pieces in it. How deep is you sand? Mine is only at 1" mostly but I still have 3/4 bag left too :-)

The deepest part is at the front under the trachy. It's about 2" there. The back on both sides is around 1". Just enough for a 2 1/2" leopard wrasse to be slightly exposed while burried.

She didn't move far, I can see about where she is by the disturbed sand. I think I'll be ok until she grows bigger. They get about 5", right @Scurvy?
