Morning minions. We did a bit of tinkering on the tank today. First off, the flush of 10,000 toilets durso pipe had to go. No matter what I did, the gurgling would not stop. So... enter plain stand pipe with guard and gate valve.
Yea, I know there's running water over it... get over it I already pulled the ladder outside.
The emergency is taller, and open now. It still sits under the wier teeth, so the tank can't possibly overflow.

While we were doing that, I noticed a bunch of flashing from one of my heaters, and the other one was indicating that it was at 82 degrees when it is trying to control 78. I unplug and remove the one flashing like crazy and its hotter than a supermale ultra spectacular supernova flame wrasse. Jeez, lets dunk this thing in some water. So I run over to the holding tank, that is just sitting with water right now, and plug it back in. This time it's reading a setting of 94°F.
That's not actually temp, but the temp its trying to control! It was flashing like crazy because if the temp is a few degrees off, like the one that is still working, it'll flash a green LED on the actual temp. If it gets too far out, the whole dial will flash in a clock like movement. My tank actual temp is 82, and it was headed for 94 if that one heater had anything to do with it. I cannot change the temp setting on the broken one.

Alright, we did a thing! The frags finally got glued, well three of them. The Tubbs montipora stellata, Sanjay Milka stylo amd the JF Project X stylo. Here's where they landed.
Right smack in the middle of the tank. They are all medium light corals so I figured that would be good spots for them.

The Tubbs had encrusted onto the plug, so I cut the stem off and glued the rest down. Both stylos hadn't encrusted yet, so they came off the plugs and got glued. The Milka came off with the epoxy base, the Project X came off it's epoxy so it just got glued to rock. That extra glue will make for some interesting encrusting. All three seem to be adjusting to their permanent spots nicely.

One more thing, I plotted out the rest of the stand... there are two ways I'm considering going. One is with a five gallon ATO and up to four dosing containers, or a ten gallon ATO and up to three dosing containers.
Turtle says to go with the ten gallon.
I filled up my ATO bucket today, let's see exactly how long it lasts.
I can't remember the days, but this is the second time I've refilled it since the tank has been running. I'm thinking we have around ten gallons a week of evaporation. Thats probably why Turtle is telling me to get the bigger ATO reservoir. All those dosing containers aren't really needed anyway.
