Hi,

My acan has been closed up for 2 days... It was always nice and plump... But now it is just lookong flat...

And this is how it looked before ( in the bottom of the pic) i moved it to the bottom of the tank, dipped it and did a water change...

My water is stable - nitrates high at 25. What i did change is dosing nopox on the low side....

Help! Really like this frag!

I'm on my phone so the pic is small, but the acan looks ok to me.
Mine deflate regularly, look for missing tissue spots on it to indicate if maybe it needs additional feeding, but unless you see some melting I would continue to just observe it and feed if you can at night.

I have had acans go flat when my foxface was nipping at them. Look for signs of damage just in case something is bothering it.

It had never deflated before ! Had it for 2 months maybe...

I target feed it maybe twice a week with mysis - eats really well and put every 2-3 days some zooplankton in the tank

It has several new heads coming in.... And oddly the color is quite nice...

Doesn't seem to be receeding or being nipped but i am keeping a close eye!

And i am trying to get my Nitrates down ! Less feeding, more water changes and started dosing Nopox... But going slowly so i don't change things too drastically
