Where did my Diamond Goby Go?

Have not seen my Goby in 2 weeks. Have a closed canopy with cooling fans, so I am sure he didn't go floor surfing. There is a chance he could have gone into the overflow. There has been no sign of anything dead in the tank. I can only think of 2 possibilities he is in hiding(maybe) or he dug under a rock that fell over on him. I do not want to take my rockscape down just to look for him.

Anyone have any ideas?

The rock theory is very possible. That happen to one I had years back. He dug himself out and surfaced a couple days later. 2 weeks though, the odds are not in it's favor. I have also had my blenny go into the sump through the overflow. I thought I lost that one and found him under my skimmer pump a week later while cleaning it.

Def check the overflow, my clown likes to jump into here for some strange reason. So check there if no luck I would go with the rock work. You prob wont ever see him again if you have a good clean up crew.

I lost a dragon wrasse that died under the sand because it was harassed by my purple tang. It never came out to eat. I saw the tip of the tail waaay under the rock where it would bury itself but I couldn't reach it without tearing the rock work down. The next day I see a pile of bristle worms in the same spot. My N and P never even spiked.

Mine just went M.i.a. For about a week after the first day of him being in his new home. Took all the rocks out, siphoned all the sand thinking that he was taken over by my clean up crew. I never did find him. Now like I said, a week later, the lights came on, and there he was. Mysterious, but happy he's back!
