I have a Jebao nano pump controller and I'm real happy with it so far, after 6 months.
We're setting up a 125g mixed reef of corals and community fish, so I'm looking at the Jebao 9000, 12000 or their brand new pump.

I'll build a manifold to T-off to run other equipment.

So, I'm wanting your long term,.... reviews, thoughts and recommendation's of their larger return pumps and
if you have tested the brand new one below.

Thank you,
Kevin

Good question. I just ordered one (DCT8000) for my main return pump. I have an Eheim 1262 inline and need more flow. The Eheim has been rock solid...I hate to replace it.

I also have a couple of Eheim's, but don't believe they'll be strong enough for the needs of this 125g.
So, their brand new DCT series, is what I may buy.

I use dc 9000 on my 125g. Had it for a year a few months... so far its been a great pump.

I run it at 50% its pretty quiet and soft start is great. Would definitely buy another

Ive got a 12000 on a 72G w/ a 40G sump running a Carbon and Biopellet reactors on a manifold and have it tuned down to 50%. Its been running for 6 months ans so far so good. Took it completely apart last week to clean it and it was remarkably clean.

I've been using a 12000 on my 120 for about 15 months. I haven't had any issues at all with it. I've taken it out once to clean it. It was easy to take apart and put back together again. It does hum a little, but that is to be expected from such a strong pump. I'm running at I guess 50%. There are 3 lights out of 6 on the controller. It is split to 2 returns and is running a GFO reactor. I would highly recommend it.

Great pump. Problem is the durability. I'm on my second Jebao DC3000 in a year. First one lasted 8-9 months. Let's see how long this one will last.

Following, I was thinking about getting one off the new Jeabo DCT pumps for a return and tie rectors into it, but was wondering how they hold up long term too. I have "HEARD" One of the disadvantages DC pumps is that the don't last as long.

I am not familiar with Jaebo/Jecord pumps which is why I am following this but I am familiar with Waveline DC pumps. I have been running their DC 6000 now for a little over a year on my 90g reef. Out of the blue when it was 11 months old it failed, they sent me a new one and it failed after 2 weeks. I now have a 3rd one they sent me so we will see how long that will last. I am looking at upgrade my system to a 150g reef and I am thinking about the DCT 12000. I love the controllability and the cool quiet running of them but I am worrying about their long term reliability. Any feedback?

I have two DC12000s on my 180 (one return, one for reactors and frag tanks) and the pumps themselves have been rock solid! However, I did have one power supply die on me about a year in. Fortunately, I had a laptop powersupply that was really close in voltage, so I turned the output down and used that until a $20 replacement came in from Amazon. I also have friends who have had the controllers die. My pumps have been running for about 17 months now.

I'm actually purchasing a third DC12000 today to have as a backup. Found one used for $50, which is hard to beat. :) I highly recommend having a backup pump, power supply, and controller. I personally believe these pumps are identical to the Wavelines, and I've seen the same issues with both locally as well as on the forums.

I have had a DC 9000 motor block go bad on me in just under a year with no warning. I replaced with a DC 12000 until my BK RD3 pump comes in.

Hey
I've used jebao for two and half years now. Dc12000 and Dc6000. I've only has one die which was more my fault.
But the one I've had on my tank now has been running for over a year. Cant fault them :)
