I was browsing the forums this past weekend when I noticed that LBA was running a 20% off sale and I have had a great experience with them before, so I decided to look around a little. When I pulled up their selected corals link I remembered that I had been eyeing their Deep South WM for a while and this was the perfect time to get it. Well we all know that buying corals is like eating Lays Potato Chips "you can never have just one", so I got a few others too.........:tongue:
Ok Ok Ok I know this thread is worthless without pictures right?!?!? Here you go.....
Can you believe that Fedex didn't crush, dent or otherwise mess this box up?!?! But then again I ALWAYS opt to pick the boxes I receive up at the local station if at all possible. Maybe that has something to do with it......
Now for the packing. Everything was bagged and packed wonderfully. No leakage what so ever and the corals look great even still in the bags!
Now for the REAL good stuff......I saw the Art Of War chalice and thought it looked interesting so I added it to the order.....Let me just say that the picture does it NO JUSTICE!! This thing is SWEET!!! Plus look at the size of these FRAGS!! They are at least TRIPLE the size that I have gotten from online vendors
Next is the Yellow Monster. This is going to be a SICK chalice when it gets to colony size! It sort of reminds me of the Tyree Aspera but BRIGHTER yellow for sure.
I added this Lobo to my order too. I am not usually a fan of lobos but this one looked different so I got it. The yellow/green ring between the pink and blue is really cool in person. The camera just can't seem to pick it up very well
Now for what I have been wanting for a while....The LBA Deep South WM chalice!! I have other RED watermelons in my tank and this makes them all look DULL. This thing is REEEDDD!! If you are a chalice collector and don't already have it. GET IT! This is the nicest chalice in my tank PERIOD!! And I have A LOT of chalices!!!!:tongue:
This is probably the longest vendor feedback ever but worth every minute it took me to write! If you don't already know what LBA is all about then you need to get in an order and get with the program!! BTW their communication/customer service is every bit as good as their corals!
